Land legalization is the purchase of the land from the Egyptian government, i.e. getting a legal status as the land's owner

With regard to property contracts, there is no specific period of time. Ownership continues for life and is inherited. With regard to usufruct contracts, different terms may be 50 years or 75, and it is renewed. For foreigners, they have the right to own buildings and usufruct the land.
The price of land rationing varies according to the location of the land, starting from 300 Egyptian pounds per square meter and reaching 3000 Egyptian pounds per square meter. And there are statements that the Egyptian government will reduce the legalization prices, but there is no final and clear decision yet.
